OPTOKON offers complimentary high quality deployable cable drums. Users can select the appropriate design and style for their particular application. The drums are ideally suited to Military, Industrial, Broadcast and for Audio applications.

Primarily the RBD-500-BF shoulder wear cable drum is designed for use with tactical LD cable terminated with HMA connectors. The drum is made with a third flange allowing full access to each end of the cable assembly. The smaller part of cable reel can accept about 15 – 20 m of internal end of cable. Remaining part of up to full cable length is wind at main cable reel. The panel between both is equipped with hole, which allows removing both cable sides with HMA connector out from the drum.

The crank at smaller panel is fixed by the help of pivoting hinge, which allows to tilt it during transportation and storage for saving the space.

The cable reel and frame are delivered in standard black color mat.

The cable reel is removeable from a frame. It might be replaced by another one, for example with different cable length.
